Review the SKU-level picture
A total unit count does not explain a large assortment. Request descriptions, identifiers, units per case and available case quantities by SKU. Review the balance of the lot, including slower-moving variations or incomplete assortments. Clarify whether a quantity is fully available or still subject to confirmation. Your quote should refer to identifiable merchandise rather than a broad category label alone.
Separate condition and packaging groups
A large purchase may include several packaging versions or condition groups. Ask for those groups to be described clearly and evaluate them separately in your buying plan. New master cases, mixed cartons and return pallets can create very different receiving workloads. Share any limits on open-box goods, dates or incomplete items before the discussion reaches final pricing.
Plan freight around your receiving operation
Provide the destination, dock access, equipment and receiving requirements. Ask for pallet counts, dimensions and shipment configuration when available. If stock will be distributed across locations, explain that requirement before assuming it can be accommodated. Pickup, delivery and other fulfillment terms need to be agreed for the specific purchase.
Make a practical volume buying brief
List your target categories, approximate purchase quantity, acceptable condition and delivery timing. Include channel restrictions that affect your resale plan. MRT confirms availability and discusses terms for the lot; a large inquiry does not automatically reserve merchandise. Use the website quote list for listed items or contact the team about a broader inventory requirement.
Before you buy.
Can MRT discuss pallet and larger lot purchases?
Yes. Share the quantity and categories you need. Actual lot size, minimums and shipment configuration depend on the available merchandise.
Can a quote cover more than one category?
Yes. Include each relevant lot or describe the desired assortment. MRT confirms which products can be supplied together.
Does submitting a quote reserve a truckload or pallet?
No. Availability, quantity, freight and purchase terms are confirmed directly with MRT before an order is finalized.
