SELL CLOSEOUTS TO MRT

Seasonal surplus & holiday inventory buyer

MRT Promotions buys seasonal surplus and holiday closeouts when a selling period leaves merchandise behind. Whether you are changing an assortment or preparing warehouse space for the next season, the inventory review starts with timing, condition and an accurate breakdown of what remains. Include the event or season the merchandise was intended for.

Identify the selling window

Describe the holiday, activity or season associated with each group of products. Explain whether goods are useful throughout a broader period or tied to a particular event. A general outdoor accessory and a decoration printed with a specific year have different resale considerations. Include any date-sensitive packaging, licensed event references or product dates in the submission.

Show the remaining assortment

Seasonal leftovers may no longer match the original range of sizes, colors or designs. List the actual quantities by variation rather than relying on the assortment originally purchased. Include current photos of cases and sample units. If cartons contain mixed items, explain the mix clearly so MRT can review the merchandise that will actually be transferred.

Describe storage and packaging condition

Explain how the stock has been stored and whether it remains in original cases. Identify display pieces, returns and damaged packaging separately. For goods carried over from a previous season, include any condition changes found during inspection. Seasonal timing does not replace the need for a clear description of the physical merchandise.

Plan around the next inventory cycle

Tell MRT when you need the stock moved, where it is located and what loading access is available. If multiple locations are involved, list quantities for each. Submit the manifest and photos through the seller form. MRT discusses the opportunity and logistics directly, without a guaranteed purchase or deadline until terms are agreed.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SEASONAL SURPLUS

Before you submit.

Can I submit inventory after the holiday has passed?

Yes. State the season, packaging details and any year-specific or date-sensitive features so MRT can review the opportunity.

Should I combine different holidays into one total?

Separate them in the manifest. Quantities by SKU, holiday and variation make the assortment easier to assess.

Does MRT review seasonal goods outside decorations?

Yes. Seasonal opportunities can include toys, recreation products, apparel, home goods and other merchandise. Describe the products and conditions in the submission.
