SELL CLOSEOUTS TO MRT

Retail inventory liquidation & closeout buyer

MRT Promotions buys excess retail inventory when stores need to clear space, change assortments or exit merchandise. Opportunities can include new case-packed overstock, discontinued lines, packaging-change goods, customer return pallets and reclamation pallets. Describe each group accurately so MRT can evaluate the inventory you actually have.

Separate warehouse overstock from store inventory

Goods held in sealed master cases may have a different history from merchandise removed from a sales floor. Identify warehouse stock, shelf pulls, display goods and customer returns separately. If merchandise comes from several stores, explain how it has been consolidated and counted. A clear breakdown helps avoid assumptions about packaging, handling and item completeness.

Describe resets, closures and assortment changes

Tell MRT whether you are clearing a department, completing a seasonal reset, reducing stock or closing a location. State the relevant deadlines and access limitations. A store closing may have a different collection window from an ongoing warehouse clearance. Include which items are available for sale and which fixtures, supplies or other assets are outside the merchandise submission.

Make mixed-condition pallets understandable

For returns and reclamation goods, supply manifests where available and explain how the pallets were assembled. Note whether goods were inspected, tested, sorted or left unprocessed. Include actual pallet photos and disclose known missing parts, damage or date issues. A mixed-condition shipment should not be presented as entirely new simply because some units are unopened.

Provide a receiving and movement plan

List pickup locations, available loading equipment, pallet counts and appointment requirements. If multiple store locations are involved, describe them individually instead of using only a combined total. MRT reviews the inventory and discusses the lot, pricing and logistics directly. Submission does not create an automatic purchase or a scheduled collection.

QUESTIONS ABOUT RETAILERS

Before you submit.

Can MRT review inventory from a store closure?

Yes. Share the merchandise list, condition, location and deadline. Clearly separate inventory from fixtures or equipment not included in the offer.

Do you buy customer return pallets from retailers?

Yes. MRT buys return pallets, subject to review of the categories, manifest, condition and quantity. State any inspection or testing that has occurred.

What if the stock is spread across multiple stores?

Provide quantities and pickup details for each location. Discuss consolidation and logistics with MRT before assuming a collection arrangement.
