Identify the merchandise behind the listing
An ASIN can be useful context, but the physical product still needs a clear description. Include the brand, UPC, model, size, pack count and any variation. Explain whether packaging carries marketplace labels and whether retail units are grouped into original master cases or mixed cartons. Provide actual photos of the inventory rather than relying only on the marketplace listing.
Explain where the inventory is now
State whether goods are at your own warehouse, a 3PL, a prep center or still awaiting a marketplace removal. Describe available quantities separately from planned arrivals. If the inventory has not yet been received and counted, say so. MRT can discuss the opportunity, but shipment and purchase details need to be based on the stock that is actually available.
Separate new stock from returns
A removal shipment may contain more than one condition. Distinguish unopened new merchandise from open-box items, customer returns, damaged cartons and products with incomplete contents. Note any inspection or testing already performed. Your reason for liquidating may be storage pressure, a discontinued listing or a change in business focus; none of those reasons alone establishes the condition of the goods.
Prepare for a liquidation discussion
Upload a SKU list, available cases or units, product photos and your preferred timing. Include date information and channel restrictions where relevant. MRT reviews the lot and discusses pricing and fulfillment directly. The website does not initiate Amazon removals, change your marketplace inventory or promise a specific recovery amount.
Before you submit.
Can I sell inventory that is still awaiting removal?
Describe the planned removal and current location, and distinguish estimated quantities from received stock. Confirm availability and logistics before finalizing a sale.
Do you buy goods with Amazon labels?
Submit photos of the labels and packaging. MRT reviews the specific merchandise, condition and any preparation involved.
Can I buy closeouts from MRT as well as sell surplus?
Yes. MRT serves both sides of the closeout market. The Amazon buyer page explains how to request merchandise for your resale business.
